Darby

Coach Darby began her gymnastics journey as a student with Salt Spring Gymnastics, where she first developed her love of the sport. She later continued her training at Duncan Dynamics Gymnastics, advancing to national-level programs and competing for Team British Columbia for 6 years. During her university years, Darby expanded her athletic career into competitive cheerleading, competing on UVIC's cheer team and earning a University World Cheerleading Championship title. 

After completing her studies, Darby returned to Salt Spring and the organization where her gymnastics journey began. As one of our lead gymnastics coaches, Darby works with gymnasts in our intermediate and pre-competitive programs, helping students build strong technical foundations, confidence, and a love of movement.

Darby is passionate about supporting the next generation of gymnasts and is excited to help continue the growth of gymnastics on Salt Spring Island.
