Fall 2024 Schedule
TEDDY BEARS & JELLY BEANS
Ages 1-3 1/2 years, must be walking
Teddy Bears and Jelly Beans focus on activities that familiarize children with the gym and its equipment. Running, jumping, balancing, hanging and stretching will keep little bodies moving. Parental support and participation are mandatory! There will be a lightly structured warm up and then the gym is opened for free play and exploration. This is a great class to play gymnastics with your little one. Please note that your child must be walking.
DRAGONFLIES & BUTTERFLIES
Ages 3.5-5*
Dragonflies and Butterflies come to the gym to learn independence and build their confidence safely. These young gymnasts bounce, jump, balance, hang and grow while learning to listen to their coaches and gain strength and agility!
*once your child is attending school, they should register in the Jumping Jacks & Jumping Jills class.
JUMPING JACKS & JUMPING JILLS
Ages 5*-7
Jumping Jacks & Jumping Jills focus on using equipment safely, taking turns and building a repertoire of gymnastics skills that can be practiced at home and improved at the gym. Students will develop an understanding of the gymnastics fundamentals of flexibility, strength, power and endurance.
*Jumping Jacks & Jumping Jills is for school aged youth. Preschool aged children must register in Dragonflies & Butterflies.
LEOPARDS & DRAGONS 1
Ages 8-14+
Leopards and Dragons 1 focuses on the principles of flexibility, power and endurance. This class will be a fun exploration of more complex movements skills and strength building. Leopards & Dragons 1 is open to beginners and youth who have gained experience in the JJs classes.
LEOPARDS & DRAGONS 2**
Ages 8-14+
This is a more advanced level class geared toward motivated gymnasts. The Leopards & Dragons 2 class continues to emphasize fun and physical development with a greater emphasis on skill development.
**Participants must be able to compete forward roll, handstand, bridges, cartwheels, bars pull over (on their own or assisted) and must be comfortable going upside down.**
