Refund Policy
Students may cancel their registration for a full refund or credit minus a $30 administration fee up to 7 days (1 week) prior to the start of the session.
To secure your spot in the class payment must be received in within 48 hours (2 days) of registering unless a request is made in writing for an alternate payment arrangement.
If you are applying for funding, payment for classes is required within 48 hours (2 days) of registering. After you register, you must apply for funding. If you qualify for funding, payment will come directly from the funding body to the club. When we receive payment from the funding source, SSCG will refund you the total amount of funding received, via etransfer. The refund will be sent to the email addresses used to register the participant, unless a written request with alternate details is provided by the Parent/Legal Guardian.
Failure to provide payment or initiate a discussion about alternate arrangement within 48 hours (2 days) of registering may result in the space in the class being given to a chid on the waitlist.
Refunds or credits will not be granted after the session has begun.
Students who miss classes, including as a result of sickness or injury, will not receive a credit or refund for the class. Make-up classes are not permitted.
We are unable to offer refunds in the event of weather emergencies, SIMS shutdowns, coach illness or covid-related shut-downs. In these instances, we still incur rental fees and must continue to pay our staff.
Students are not permitted to change classes for a single week; any changes made to your schedule with the approval of the SSCG manager and lead coaches are permanent.
Registration in classes is non-transferable. Only the person enrolled in the class may participate in the class. Switching classes between friends and family members is not permitted.
A credit or refund will be provided if the program is cancelled or deemed by the coaches to be unsuitable for the student for safety reasons. The refund will be prorated.
Programs may be cancelled or combined, due to insufficient enrolment. These decisions are made a few days in advance of the start date. Please register early to avoid disappointment.
Please note that the Gymnastics BC membership fee is paid directly by Salt Spring Circus and Gymnastics to Gymnastics BC upon registration. It is non refundable.
Aerial apparatus can not be used if there is snow on the roof, or during extremely heavy rain. When there is snow or pooled water on the roof, weather permitting, classes will go ahead with alternate activities for the duration of the snow.
